Who We Are - What We Do 

The West Eugene Village Homeowner's Association represents the interests of all who own homes within the community.  Members of the Board of Directors are all volunteers who have a fiduciary duty to Association members, who are mandatory members of the Association, and, as such, all Directors have a legal obligation to always act in the best interest of the HOA. Board members receive no compensation.

 

The HOA is currently being managed by The Management Trust, an employee owned HOA management company with regional offices in 8 different States. The Corporate office is located in Las Vegas, NV. You can find more information about them here.

 

The Annual Membership meeting of all Homeowners is held every year on October 23rd (held the following Monday if this falls on a weekend). Directors are elected on a rotating basis every three years at the Annual Members Meetings.​


WE ARE A PRIVATELY OWNED COMMUNITY WITHIN THE CITY OF EUGENE. WE RECEIVE NO CITY PROVIDED SERVICES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY OTHER THAN THE STANDARD SEWER AND ELECTRIC AND WATER UTILITIES AVAILABILITY. HOA YEARLY ASSESSMENTS ARE USED TO PAY FOR THE UPKEEP OF ALL HOA PRIVATELY OWNED COMPONENTS, WHICH HELPS TO PROTECT COMMUNITY PROPERTY VALUES, THUS HOMEOWNER INVESTMENTS, AS WELL AS HELPING TO KEEP THE COMMUNITY A SAFE AND APPEALIING COMMUNITY TO LIVE IN. 

 

ASSESSMENTS ARE USED FOR THE FOLLOWING:
 

  • Exterior and Park Fences Repair & Replacement.

  • Postal Boxes and Covers Repair & Replacement.

  • Park and Playground Equipment Maintenance.

  • Utilities: Water - Electric Use (common areas only).

  • Landscaping in all common areas, at entrances, and some areas directly outside perimeter fencing. 

  • Sidewalks within the community.

  • Streetlights and all other lighting within the community and at entrances.

  • Irrigation System Repair and Replacement.

  • Street Drainage/Catch Basins (cleaning, repair, replace).

  • Private Community Streets cleaning, crack repair, sealing, and replacement.

  • Required Insurance Policies, Tax Obligations, and Corporate Filing Fees.

 ** Sidewalks outside the community are not maintained by the Association. Those sidewalks fall under the Eugene City Ordinances. Sidewalks along Terry and Avalon are the responsibility of the homeowners whose rear property lines are along those streets. The trees on the street side of the sidewalk are the property of the City of Eugene. The HOA and property owners cannot care for them without permission from the City. Trees which are located on homeowner property are the responsibility of the homeowner.

The Board of Directors currently consists of five (5) voting Directors

  • President (current term ends Feb 2026 - election to be held October 2025)

  • Vice President (current term ends Feb 2027 - election to be held October 2026 - currently vacant - we need a volunteer willing to be appointed for term completion)

  • Secretary (current term ends Feb 2026 - election to be held October 2025)

  • Treasurer (current term ends Feb 2026 - election to be held October 2025)

  • Member At Large (current term ends Feb 2027 - election to be held October 2026)
